This weekend might have been one of the craziest weekends for sunny Los Angeles due to the none other, BET Awards! If we had to describe The BET Awards in one word it would be–FIRE. From the Prince tributes to Jesse Williams READING ALL OF SOCIETY…We’d have to say the 2016 award show was pretty darn good!
Leading up to the show, of course BET had to do it big with a multitude of star-studded events! The BET Experience at L.A Live presented by Coca-Cola and Sprite turned all the way up at the STAPLES center with celebrity performances by LIL WAYNE & 2 CHAINZ, TORY LANEZ, A$AP FERG FETTY WAP, TY DOLLA $IGN, KODAK BLACK
The party didn’t stop there. The Novo presented a late night concert with The Roots and several special guest including T.I, Common, and Marsha Ambrosia.
And of course you can’t have a BET event without having some type of basketball game! On day three, celebrities including Snoop Dogg, Nick Cannon, Floyd Mayweather, Omarion, Wale, The Game, Desiigner, Marsia Martinand and more all hit the court for the Celebrity Basketball Tournament! The lovely beauties, Chole x Halle opened with the national anthem which subsequently gave us all life!
The day continued with several performances along with other events throughout the free fan stages. The BETX stage sponsored by Nissan and JG Wentworth presented genius talks with conversations by DJ Khaled, Gabrielle Union, Snoop Dogg, Birdman, Jermaine Dupri and more. …and ladies….Gabrielle Union dropped some serious knowledge on the challenges women of color face speaking openly about understanding and being proud of who you are. Can you say…YAAASSS queen!
To end the night, Nick Cannon presented MTV Wildn N out Live show featuring some of his friends, which literally had us DEAD!
Since the age of 7 I’ve been in love with the concept of digital storytelling. In 2009, I turned that passion into a career when I officially started my production company, Amaz1n Entertainment Productions. Over the course of time I have built a solid portfolio and body of work that I’m proud of, and have worked with a wide range of clients from small businesses, non-profit organizations, religious organizations, law enforcement agencies to doctors, trainers, celebrities, publications, and CEO’s which in turn has allowed me to grow in the digital media/entertainment industry.
